While returning home one winters morning I stopped at this scene. The lazy sunrise cutting through the haze of clouds enough to lay the land in a stark contrast. Somehow it was both cosy and stark. The hardship of the weather with the rich comfort of colour and the promise of a warm cup of tea at home.
