For years I spent my holidays in Clare wandering the beaches. If you know Ireland, you’ll know that this requires more raincoats than swimsuits, this day was no exception. The sky had barely cleared when another storm of clouds arrived casting the world in an amazing pallette of colours.

Clare Beach was my first return to art after a long hiatus and is one of the first full pastel pieces I created. To this day it remains a favourite of mine.
